frequently asked questions

what is your return policy for items in the shop? what about classes?
all sales are final. i am just one artist trying to sell my work! please purchase a piece only when you know you are ready to give it its forever home. for classes, i am unable to give refunds, but i am able to reschedule a class up to 24 hours in advance.

why is shipping $10+?
generally ceramics are heavy. that is why! also please remember that shipping prices include handling materials + labor, and also that paypal takes a cut from any sales i make through their platform. if you want to pick up from me directly in brooklyn instead of paying for shipping, you can email me at hayley(at)hayleycranberry(.)com and we can arrange.

why are so many pieces sold out?
most of my pieces sell relatively quickly on instagram—if you want first dibs you can follow me there @hayleycranberry. most will be posted on stories, sometimes on static posts.

do you take commissions?
not right now. however, i am interested in collaborations with companies and brands. but who knows, you might be able to convince me if you email me.

what if a piece that i purchase breaks during transit?
please take a photo of the shipping box and incurred damage to the piece, and contact me at hayley(at)hayleycranberry(.)com and we can figure something out.

are all of your pieces handmade?
yes, handmade, hand-glazed, and hand-painted. some are thrown on the wheel and some are hand-built.

are your pieces non-toxic/food safe?
yes. if a piece is not food safe it will say so in the description.

what kind of packing supplies do you use?
the majority of the time i reuse packing supplies from previous packages instead of buying new boxes, bubble wrap, and paper. i will never use styrofoam packing peanuts; any packing peanuts you may receive are compostable and biodegradable. i do not ever purchase supplies from ULINE (trump mega-donors).
